The Samsung Lions moved back into second place in a day's time, closing to within 1.5 games of the leaders Kia Tigers.

Rojas, who hit his 21st home run of the season, led the way with four RBIs, while Kang Baek-ho at No. 2 and Hwang Jae-gyun at No. 6 each had three hits.

SSG slugger Choi Jung-jeong hit a solo home run to left field in the fifth inning to become the second player in history, after Park Byung-ho, to reach the 20-homer milestone in nine consecutive seasons, but it was overshadowed by the loss.
